Hospitals depend on sterile instruments. Wet steam can cause wet packs. We can help you eliminate wet packs… by eliminating wet steam.
Regulators and valves last longer when handling clean, dry steam. Ask for our articles on steam quality, or about a training class at your facility.

About Us
Steam System – Troubleshooting – Training – Design Assistance
We are a Steam System Consultant. We know steam quality issues create a need for urgency. Rates are reasonable (for Engineers with 30+ years experience).
We are located in West Lafayette, Indiana, home of Purdue University (Boilermakers), near interstate highways between Indianapolis and Chicago (both discount airlines hubs)… our specialty is steam system issues:
- helping you solve steam problems
- showing you why and how they happen – helping design new systems that work
Troubleshooting & Testing
We solve problems with sterilizers, autoclaves and steam loss in piping systems. We also do steam quality testing and analysis.
Sterilizers are critical components in health care, life sciences, institutional, and research facilities… but since they are open-ended steam users, poor steam quality (water in the line) can cause major problems.
Training
We teach classes (usually in your facility) to educate your team on how the steam system works. We start with fundamentals and “walk” the system from boiler to condensate pumps. CEU and PDH credits are arranged according to your requirements.
Design Assistance
We’ll help look over any new projects. We are not a design firm, but we’ve helped engineers “get it right” for over 20 years. We often help with steam and condensate line sizing, drain piping and location, and energy recovery strategies.
